WOYWW- 191 I'm Late, I'm Late

I'm late, I'm late, for a very important date......Its Wednesday again and time to shoe off your desk to the world and I'm so late this week. If you are wondering what I'm talking about, get yourself over to the lovely Julia's Stamping ground for the details.  But I had a workshop this morning and this afternoon I was teaching a craft class. but now I'm back.  Plus can I welcome my new followers , Susi, Ria & Jeanna.  Not much to show on my desk as it was full of the class bits for this afternoon.  so I thought I would show one of my UFOs (unfinished Object).  I started this nearly a year ago.  If on thick book  Cut on the cover and  inside.  Be warned this takes time and many a craft blade.  Well that was as far as I got, plus colouring it orange!!  So this week pulled it out again, right off the orange so changed that as you can see  I have used fresco paints, embossed card and a stencil

Inside again fresco paint claret and nougat and abit of crackle glaze, plus stencil.  Still some things to do.  Have a good snoop everyone.

  18. Franchesca I do believe this is my first time to your desk, (a return visit thank you for coming to see me this morning), as a 'frequent blade changer' I have now learnt to use a Stanly knife instead!. your work is beautiful, thank you for showing it to us.

  19. awesome altered book! You definitely did a great job on it even if it took a year...I can say that cause I have some that are "in limbo" for longer then that! I read Doone's post above and I use a Stanley knife too cause I feel safer with it and it cuts through more layers and blades are a lot cheaper! Thanks for sharing and visiting my desk! Hope you have a great week! Vickie #32
