Will not tell what has been done as not fair on the CC challenge.

TAP the bag

Just a quick post, re class I did yesterday at the Craft Barn with the lovely Helen Chilton.  the class was using TAP (Transfer Artist Paper), great stuff.  The panel was stamped then coloured with various mediums, Distress ink, markers etc, then ironed on to the calico bag.  The surround was then stamped with different colours of stazon. The ladies & I ( or is it me) had a good time.
A small sample I did when bag done, just colours with distress markers.

Time Worn Rust and Leather

Second post today, what's the world coming too.  This is part of the on line course I'm doing with Andy Skinner.  1st pic is the Rust effect, I think it is pretty good, looks good and rusty to me.
This one is the faux leather without embossing or wash.
This one is the faux leather embossed and with wash.  not too sure about this one.

WOYWW #171 Arrrg!

Arrrg! This was my desk on Tuesday morning, after  restocking the shop I sell my cards with engagement and wedding cards.   Even for me I needed to do something,  as tomorrow I need to show the world again for WOYWW, co ordinated by Julia, go look.
Hurrah, nice and tidy again, doesn't look too colourful this morning as I have finally got my finger out to do Andy Skiner's on-line course.  The red one is the rust waiting for the next bit, the brown is the faux leather again waiting for the next bit.   The tag is a arum lili stamp(PSX) which I love used on distress backgrounf and picked out with picket fence distress marker.  The book cover is another class I did with Andy Skinner.   Well today was the first day, as my hubby says, that you could smell autunm, plus must have been cold overnight as our bathroom heating came on.  However its all ready warming up.  Have a good day everyone looking at desks around the world.

WOYWW #170

Its that time again for snooping around the world on peoples desks, go over to Julia's Stamping Ground for details.   So this is my desk this morning, pretty late as again I was at the theatre.  Note to self, need to get up really early on  Wednesday, if I do maybe I can get into the 20's......
This is a another small scrapbook I have made, this is the reverse, before spraying, this is after an idea I saw on Finnabair Blog, she does absolutely stunning work, mine doesn't compare( t my first effort.)   You can see I have some new stash, wooden embellishments of leaves, very handy and a new spellbinder- venetian, plus a small bird house which I'm going to alter using some of the techniques learned on the TimeWorn Course by Andy Skinner.  The there is the surrounding leftover from cards that I have made for commissions.

 Close up of the reverse.
This is the front following spraying, i know its abit pink...but haven't the nerve yet to add some black
Well that is it, another glorious day here in the South of England, so going to take full advantage..
Til next week have a good one.......
