WOYWW #229- Quick flitt in....

For details re WOYWW please go over to the lovely Julia'sand join the world's greatest blog hop.

This is my desk this morning, not much going on, just the project I taught last Wednesday, it is based on somethhing I did a long time ago with Linda Elbourne.   Anyway the ladies had a good time, and I had a couple of hours to myself.

I would like to thank all of you for your lovely comments and good wishes for my Mother two weeks ago. Soon after Mum was taken into hospital and as it turned out not because of the Chemo or Cancer, but a pill against gout.  She had a very servere allegic reaction.  She is still in hospital trying to get better.  So I'm, up and down to see Mum and looking after my Dad too.  No more self pity, wishing you all a good week.

  1. So glad to hear your mum is getting better. Hope she is soon well enough to return home.
Lovely project you have on your desk, perhaps we can hear more about it when you are less busy. In the meantime, stay well and happy.

  3. Liebe Francesca, looks like a fab hanging :-)
I'm glad you are able to visit your Mum now, although I can well imagine that you have a hard time looking after both of your parents. I wish you all the strength and all the best for your Mum. Viele liebe Grüße, hugs, Suzanne xxx

  4. Thanks for visiting in such a busy week. I wish you well in all you are doing at the moment - and trust your mum continues to recover from the reaction.

  6. Sorry to hear your Mum's been so poorly, Francesca, and I hope she's well on the mend now. Allergic reactions can be very scary! I love the tags you've made - such beautiful colours.

Thanks for your nice comment and I'm glad you like my new ARTHaven. Still a lot of tidying and sorting to do before it's how I want it! Thanks for the suggestion re the resin - I've got no experience of resins and I think I need to do some research. I need to make about 8 of the door plates.

    Happy WOYWW,
