I have used Paperartsy Fresco paints, Decoart moulding paste for textureand some embossed paaper.

Basic Class

Happy rainy Saturday everyone, these are the ladies of my craft class today, back to basics using Distress Markers and Distress Inks. From the left, Chris, Carole, Sue, Pauline.s head, Mrs B and Di
This card is using a Hampton art stamp that I have had for years, with Archival ink then Distress Markers used a water colours, edges with distress ink (crushed olive).
This card made by applying distress markers direct to the stamp, huffing and stamping , then adding
water to draw out colour.  Stamp is a old PSX stamp again.the background is using a stencil and embossing with thru my big shot, then colouring with broken chine distress ink.  Then ladies all did
variations.  we then played with the distress inks to make background.  whilst we were playing the rain came tumbling down with thunder etc.  Oh where has the summer gone......

WOYWW 163

So here's my first effort to link to another site so I have choosen  WOYWW 163 to give it a try, co -ordinated by Julia's Stamping Ground. this is my work space in my spare room, looks pretty good and tidy, must admit not normally like this, i seem to work in a space on about 6 inches square.  I have now got my Distress inks in a holder  from Tando, another one being made up so the seasonal inks  can go in.
This side has box with off cuts etc plus abit of sustanance.  Bottle is my empty hair product that I now use for water.
This is a tag I was working on last night using new stamps I got from Art Journey in Holland, they stamp really well.    So that is my effort.

We learned lots of techniques using paint, vaseline as a resist, embossing etc.
, plus managed to actually finish the project in time, well nearly I have added a few more petals to my flowers  at home.

Back again!

Hi there, been missing for abit, but lots done!.   Here are a couple of examples of techniques I saw at the  Craft Barn Extr. last weekend.  The first is a card I have done for a friend using the Glue & seal as shown by the lovely Lindsay Mason.  The 2nd ( wrong way round picture not sure how to correct )is a tag using oil crayons as demoed by Helen Clinton.

This is a canvas I did on a play day with my best mate Karin, for a small canvas it took for ever to get it right.  Using so many layers of paint and texture paste and more paint and tissue paper, and more paint and stamping and more paint, and spraying and more paint etc etc.  Few do dads, and presto finished.  Wishing you a good weekend and lots of crafting.
