WOYWW -#246-Sewing Bee

Its that time again, Wednesday where does the time fly and I managed to miss last week.  For all the T's & Cs go along to the lovely Julia's.
Did you all see last night, Sewing Bee is back, well these are my efforts.
This is the finished article for my Creative embroidery course which I showed 2 weeks ago in progress.  It is layers of organza fabric which has been sown to my design.  then the layers have been randomly cut.

I will have to finish my main project but will show you another time.

this is another project i have managed to finish this week.  found the fabric at a show and just had to have it.  Isn't great and know its not everyone cup of tea, but I like it.  So went to my first quilting class with the lovely Tanya Bashford who shown me the way to make a Wallaby bag.   it has 3 pockets on either side and 4 inside and its quilted.

This is a card I did get to do this week so still doing a bit.  Sorry to end on a sad note but Mum went back into hospital again just after I had posted 2 weeks ago so only home for 4 days.  Well that's how it goes.  Have a good day every one..........................................

  1. Wow! That's a beautiful piece of embroidery and a great bag. I had my fabric out yesterday, need to make a Kindle cover for my sister's birthday - tomorrow. I may have left it a little too late.
    Thanks for visiting.

  5. WOW that is stunning, sadly the only sewing I can do is a straight line on paper. The detail is just so beautiful. Clever you. The bag is pretty awesome too.
