WOYWW #220 - Ta Da!

Bloggers of the World unite, get yourself over to Julia's for all the details of this weekly blog hop.

sorry abit picture heavy today.......

Those of you who visited me last week, saw my shame, stuff everywhere , couldn't move, floor covered.  Ta daa, new unit in , stuff sorted and unit filled.

Nice clean floor room under the desk, one basket to sort.  could even have a small dance in the room as so much floor space.

This is my desk as of Tuesday evening 10.50pm.

I went to a class with Andy Skinner on Sunday at the Craft Barn.  although I did enjoy myself wasn't happy with my canvas as to me  it was too dark.  So I started a new one

This is the stage I'm at. After applying texture paste, paints and washes.  Still some more to do, will hopefully show you next week, now I have a lovely cleaned up and tidied craft room.

Wishing you all  a good day.......

  3. Love the new storage unit! Room to do the happy dance, Hun. I'm loving the make on your desk. I see a bit of his alien skin technique on there. I took his online class for that...wish I could do it better. My hands won't cooperate. Please show us both of your pieces. Thanks for the earlier visit! Happy WOYWW! Nan G #1

  4. What a transformation - and I love your unit. Don't spend too much time dancing, want to see that canvas finished please.
I am itching to make a canvas myself with lots of layers and different products (you understand the canvasses I did were limited with the time and products available) so I need something new to stamp with and have an idea in my head - just need to spend some money.
Have a good week and thanks for your visit earlier.

  8. Happy WOYWW. I know how you feel. Even my hubby was excited when he came in my craft room earlier and realised he could turn around without knocking into anything! I get excited every time I get up from my chair and have an easy walk over to where I keep my papers etc. The smallest things keep me happy! Fab canvas BTW. Ali x #48

  10. Thanks for visiting me, love your canvas, I could never do anything as nice as that, it would just look as if a couple of kids had had a go at it, but your clearly has skill behind it and evidence that it was planned.
Give my love to West Sussex, lived there until 1996.

  14. yes, the room now looks much better. The blue did make it look a bit dark on the canvas, but what fabulous texture it gave - bet it will be a lovely canvas when its done.
