Trio Challenge #92
A trio of ATC's with a connection, thats the challenge over @ Fun with ATCs.
I deceidedto go oriental in the summer heat. I started with a plain piece of card which I added 3 colours of Fresco paints and mixed using a defunct credit card to get my background. I put on chinese lettering which are rubons. Stamped with text and embossed. Stamped my images which are from the Lynn Perelli stamps again from Paper Artsey, which have been coloured with my copic pensplus embelly. My oriental trio!

Vintage, Texture & Flowers
That is the theme for the lastest challenge @ Dragons Dream TIO #145.
So I started with texture by using for the first time Grunge Paste from Paperartsy, thru a stencil. It works really well and dry pretty quickly.
Then I used various Fresco Paints to get the colour I wanted. there was alot of putting on and taking off. I used Treasure gold Ruby to high light some of the areas.
I stamped my image onto tissue paper and reversed it. This is one from Indigo Blu. Stamped another image on card and decoupaged the flowers to her head. Added some paper flower and sparkle. Highlighted some area in white pen and added ribbon to the top and bottom, and voila!.

WOYWW-#214 No desk
Good morning all on another glorious day here in the UK, Summer has finally arrived! I don't have a pic of my desk today but the result of a workshop I did yesterday called Faces, Figures and Fabric with Joe Beattie. This is my finished item based on a photo of my DH when he was 11 many moons ago. It is layers of voile then free machined. This was the first time I actually did drawing and free machining, so lots of pressure but I did eventually have a good time.
Following on from last Wednesday when I told all that my Guild had won the South East Embroidery comp with our stitched book, her are some pics I managed to get. The book is fab and very big. Well done to all who took part.
For all details re blog hop jump over to Julia's for the T & C.

DragonsDream TIO #144 Coastal, Mica & Flourish
This weeks challenge over at DragonsDream is Coastal, Mica and a flourish.
Mine is abit more beach, but that is the coast to me as I live next to it. I first used some Distress Stains ( Broken China & Mustard Seed) for the background then added mica sprays for a contrast which doesn't photograph well. The beach hut and sentiment are from Crafty Individual stamps. The Bathing Beauty is from a new company I discovered Acid Drops and What Nots (this stamp a freebie from Mag) My flourish is also a freebie stamp, from Christmas would you believe, which I have used as waves which I have embossed. Pretty ribbon to finish off and this is my entry to the challenge.

WOYWW-#213-Busy busy busy
Firstly, for details of this great blog hop go over to the lovely Julia's at Stamping ground.
This is my desk as of 6.00am this morning, left over from last night. I have been playing about with some new stamps I have acquired from a company called Acid Drops and What nots. some great stamps and sentiments from the 20's era, somewhat updated. these I was lucky enough to get from a Mag as a freebie. The card at the back was my entry to a challenge, White on White.
I found the new company when I went to the Sincerely Yours show at Portsmouth on Sunday with my good friend Karin . Didn't spend too much, LOL. But had a good time.
Next to pics are a couple of exhibits from the Stitch Fest at Ardingly from Saturday. My guild was hosting and I must shout out that we won the adult competition with our stitched book. (Don't have a pic of ours)
This one is the cover made by my new friend Chris from the Tunbridge Wells group
this would you believe is an exhibit from the young embroiderers aged betw 5-14. Well that is the shows I went too, Have also been playing booking Agent for my parents for all the flights and hotels they want, which has been a bit of a task. That is it for this week, have a good one.
