Its that time again, Wednesday where does the time fly and I managed to miss last week. For all the T's & Cs go along to the lovely Julia's.
Did you all see last night, Sewing Bee is back, well these are my efforts.
This is the finished article for my Creative embroidery course which I showed 2 weeks ago in progress. It is layers of organza fabric which has been sown to my design. then the layers have been randomly cut.
I will have to finish my main project but will show you another time.
this is another project i have managed to finish this week. found the fabric at a show and just had to have it. Isn't great and know its not everyone cup of tea, but I like it. So went to my first quilting class with the lovely Tanya Bashford who shown me the way to make a Wallaby bag. it has 3 pockets on either side and 4 inside and its quilted.

WOYWW #244-Hello again
Hello All, I'm back again, hopefully for a bit longer than last time.
For those in the know My Mum was taken back into hospital just after Christmas with a massive infection. I got her out on Monday, and she is much better this time. We are now building her up.
I have been doing a Creative Embroidery course which started before Mum became ill, and this has kept me going. So my desk today is not my craft room but the dinning table. We have been looking at design, so took leaves , so my first pic is the design I created using Ivy leaves.
the yellow block is part of my design I used to make a design block, which can then be used to make any pattern you want.
This pic shows the blocks plus the start of my fabric design. It has a base of stabilisher, then silk and 5 layer of organza. I have then free machined my design on the reverse.
This is the front of my design and I have started to cut out layers , to show the different layers of organza.
To join us on the biggest blog hop go over to the lovely Julia at Stamping Ground . Have a good day.

Practise Time.....
for Free Motion Machinery. For those of you who know, Mum still in hospital. So yesterday managed to grab a couple of hours to practise my free motion machinery, I decided to make a couple of covers for my Pinking shears( they cut little zig zags to stop material fraying) and my ordinary material scirrors.
I used 2 cotton napkins for the back, thick iron on vilene for the centre and the top pieces are curtain remnants, plus my machinery. Wishing everyone a lovely Saturday before the storms hit us.
