WOYWW #170

Its that time again for snooping around the world on peoples desks, go over to Julia's Stamping Ground for details.   So this is my desk this morning, pretty late as again I was at the theatre.  Note to self, need to get up really early on  Wednesday, if I do maybe I can get into the 20's......
This is a another small scrapbook I have made, this is the reverse, before spraying, this is after an idea I saw on Finnabair Blog, she does absolutely stunning work, mine doesn't compare( t my first effort.)   You can see I have some new stash, wooden embellishments of leaves, very handy and a new spellbinder- venetian, plus a small bird house which I'm going to alter using some of the techniques learned on the TimeWorn Course by Andy Skinner.  The there is the surrounding leftover from cards that I have made for commissions.

 Close up of the reverse.
This is the front following spraying, i know its abit pink...but haven't the nerve yet to add some black
Well that is it, another glorious day here in the South of England, so going to take full advantage..
Til next week have a good one.......

  1. Love the covers, especially the back cover. Enjoy your day while the sun is out! You know how erratic the weather can be in England!

    Happy WOYWW!

  3. Hiya, its been a while but it's good to be back and taking a peek at your creative world again. Looking busy and fun. Love Finnebar's stuff too but not quite got round to trying it yet! If you don't want to add black, try brown, it's not as daunting! Hope you have a good week too.

  9. It looks very pretty Francesca. I love the soft colouring you've got on this, I would be hesitant to add the black to these colours too, how about a darkish blue or green.

  14. Great arrangement with all those flowers ... I think you'll get around to 'dim' the pink a little bit - if not, it looks just as good :-))

  17. I've been thinking about getting some wooden embellishments just like those. Thank you for helping me decide that I absolutely must have them. Looking forward to seeing what you do with your birdhouse.
